Dr Kitt Petersen, Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, USA

Dr Petersen is Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, USA. She also holds the post of Assistant Director of the Yale University General Clinical Research Center. Dr Petersen has made a notable contribution to medical education. Dr Petersen's research interests include the mechanisms underlying insulin regulation of liver glucose metabolism and insulin resistance, particularly in obesity and diabetes. This involves the use of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and stable isotope techniques in conjunction with the glucose/insulin clamp technique.

 

 

Dr Riccardo Bonadonna, MD

Dr Bonadonna is Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences at the University of Verona Medical School, Verona, Italy. He also holds the post of Consultant in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases at the University of Verona Medical School. Dr Bonadonna has a specialty in Geriatric Medicine (1986), Nuclear Medicine (1990) and Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases (1999).
