Dr Kitt Petersen, Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, USA

Dr Petersen is Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, USA. She also holds the post of Assistant Director of the Yale University General Clinical Research Center. Dr Petersen has made a notable contribution to medical education. Dr Petersen's research interests include the mechanisms underlying insulin regulation of liver glucose metabolism and insulin resistance, particularly in obesity and diabetes.
